Our Tagalong Options are the perfect way to become comfortable with 4wdriving in remote Australia.

Travelling with Affinity Tours is a great way to experience real 4wdriving; it’s an option to gain confidence in your vehicle and equipment whilst having the enjoyment of a pre-planned itinerary in a remote location.

Unlike other tagalong tour companies our prices include all meals, accommodation (both camping and hotel/motel), entrance fees and attractions. We eat, interact and function as one group for a great shared experience, rather than treat you as add-ons.

We provide you with a map per vehicle, a comfort pack (drinking cup, water bottle, fly veil), a basic equipment list for your car and the option to hire camping gear such as sleeping bags, chairs, tables etc.

In addition we provide

  • Fully equipped escort vehicles (with all recovery, safety equipment, including satellite phones and comprehensive remote area First Aid kits)
  • Bush toilet and Bush Shower (where water is available)
  • Tips and assistance with 4×4 driving, mechanical assistance if you break down
  • Services and Knowledge of our experienced and licensed tour leaders, who are trained in remote area touring and first aid.

Drive yourself Tag-a-long

We want to ensure that every one who comes on one of our tours has a great time, whether they travel as passengers or bring along their own vehicle. Unlike other companies that take tag-a-long vehicles we include everything. 

That means our staff, our facilities, our meals, our accommodation and our attractions. You might be driving separately but you are travelling as part of our adventure group.

Kitty does all the meals and she will have talked to you prior to tour to work out dietary restrictions. Meals are fairly comprehensive (breakfast, lunch and dinner  plus lots of cuppas along the way) and include drinks at dinner.

Barry is the tour leader and will assist you to ameliorate any vehicle problems. He has years of bush mechanic experience and carries the tools to back it up.

We’ll provide you with a comprehensive map, personal cups, water bottles and fly nets. You have the chance to hire camping equipment from us as well as a portable CB radio if you don’t already have one. By all means, bring along all of your own gear to see how it works along the road.

To keep in line with our small group identity we limit the number of drive yourself vehicles to 4

Accommodation included

we include in the cost all camping fees and also motel accommodation for nights we don't camp.
