Our camping equipment

Our tours vary between fully accommodated and camping and even with our camping trips we try to put in a cabin or motel every so often to break it up.  We firmly believe that camping doesn’t have to be uncomfortable or too much hard work and as such our equipment has been chosen to make it easy for us all.

The tents are easy popup and have enough head room to stand up in.  Although designed as four person tents we only place 2 people in each and you do have the option of a single supplement so you don’t need to share.

The beds are off the ground sturdy stretchers and have an inflatable mat on top.  

If you would prefer (some of our clients do) there is nothing quite like sleeping in a swag under the stars so pre-book that option. We can always switch you to a tent if the weather turns nasty.

We provide a cozy LARGE sleeping bag, rated to -5 C, fitted with a washable liner. Bring your own pillow!

Around the campfire we provide relaxing chairs and functional tables; there’s even a laprug if you feel the cold!
